FAB 40+ ROBSON GREEN

As fans of this page know, the point of the Fab 40+ segment is to celebrate actors who in their youth were amazingly hot, and now that they are past 40 or 50 or even 60 they have lost none of their luster. This week I am celebrating an actor who actually only got hotter as he aged. In fact, one might even argue that he wasn't hot until he got past 40. And of course you'd be arguing about...

ROBSON GREEN

Robson Golightly Green was born on December 18, 1964 in Hexham, Northumberland. And yes, Golightly is his real middle name. It is his grandmother's maiden name, which makes since because with those killer blue yes, it surely isn't a nickname! The son of a coal miner (be still, my heart!), Robson has applied himself as a draughtsman and boxing before deciding that it was an actor's life for him. Unlucky shipyards and boxing rings, lucky us!

Lest you think I am being unfair, I will let you decide for yourself if Robson has aged especially well. Here's a pic of Robson when he was 19...

For me it's barely a comparison. He wasn't a bad looking kid, but that overbite has receded a bit, and that shag of ash brown hair has lightened, and the rest of the features just sort of settled in nicely. Whoever invested in this property early got paid off well later!
